Rygarug was established by a committee of volunteers to provide local affordable tuition in the performing arts and related disciplines. The project is supported by grants from the Arts Council of Wales, Mantell
Gwynedd, Llanrug Community Council, Llanberis Community Council and Llanddeiniolen Community Council. Extra funds are raised from annual membership of £2 and a charge of £1 per lesson. Fundraising activities range from concerts, gigs, bingo, discos and raffles....
Rygarug is open to youngsters between the ages of 7 and 18. Classes available are Music, Dance, Drama, Make-up, Scriptwriting and Multi-media. The highlight of Rygarug`s activities is an annual show performed at Theatr Seilo Caernarfon during the Easter holidays.
